I collaborated with Jack Bransfield, Founder of Built Light and partner on all things digital, on translating a proven protocol for early onset dementia intervention into a digital tool. Designed and built for counselors at the Benjamin Rose Institute for Aging, this iPad-based app—along with the print materials we designed for them—allows the Institute to train, certify, and license counselors at institutes around the country.
The SHARE iPad app is used by counselors at the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging in their intervention protocol for early onset dementia.
We designed and built a simple web-based administrative tool for use by SHARE program managers to allow them to easily manage licensing to other care facilities and maintain their database of active and certified users of the SHARE app.
We were asked to help develop the counselor training materials for use by managers of the program in their counselor certification process. We also worked with those managers and intervention counselors to design workbooks that helped orient families and guide them through the protocol process.
Workbooks are used by counselors to capture key insights and encourage thoughtful discussion during the intervention.
